In order to prepare for the European Championship (Division C) in Baku (27.07. – 07.08), the U18 boys went to Ireland where they practiced together and played against the U18 boys of Ireland.
The luxembourgish team lost the 3 games against a very physical team from Ireland (65-117; 79-105; 52-85). After a disappointing game 1, the team showed a good reaction in the 2 following games by playing better together and by finding ways to play against stronger and bigger players.
The 3 games were very important in order to prepare for the summer and to be ready to adapt to the international style of play. The team will continue to improve over the next few weeks, before they head to Baku trying to bring home a medal.
