On Thursday, our U18 girls played the second classification game of the Division A European Championship. Against Italy, the FLBB squad lost 53:77.
The girls faced a familiar face, Nicole Torresani (Sparta Bertrange) plays for Italy. The JICL U21 player of the LBBL season 2023/24 and her team pulled away in the fourth quarter of the game. Joyce Isi Etute scored 24 points and added 15 rebounds for Luxembourg, Isa Hämäläinen added 16 points.

Friday is a rest day, the next classification game is on the schedule on Saturday, the opponent and the starting time of the game will follow soon. Stay tuned. Luxembourg will now compete for places 13-16. Places 14,15 and 16 will relegate to the Division B.
