After our U20 men started the European Championship for the FLBB youth teams this summer, the U18 boys get into action starting this Sunday. They play the Division C championship in San Marino. The championship starts on Sunday (24th) and will end on July 31st.

‚,On Friday, the U18 Men National Team traveled to San Marino to participate in the FIBA Europe U18 Division C Championship. Over the period of 10 days, we will compete with the goal of reaching the finals. The 11 teams were divided into two groups. Luxembourg is part of group B which consists of Azerbaijan, Gibraltar, Moldova, Armenia and Luxembourg.
Before leaving for the tournament, we had an intensive few weeks of preparation where we worked hard. Additionally to the practices we had a training camp in Ireland where the focus was on team building and friendly games were also played. This preparation time helped the boys to get to know each other and adjust to the international level of play.
The team is now focused and motivated to take on the upcoming international challenge with the goal of brining home a medal.‘‘
