Our U20 boys play the European Championship over the next days. The team of coaches Amadeo Dias and Christophe Toussaint play the Division B championship until July 24th in Georgia.

On Thursday, our U20 Men National Team traveled to Georgia to participate in the FIBA Europe U20 Division B Championship. For 10 days, 19 teams will play for the championship and the possibility to move up to Division A. Teams are divided into 4 groups. Luxembourg was drawn into Group A where they will face the Netherlands, Romania, Iceland and Estonia.
During an intensive preparation, the team worked hard and gave 100% each practice session. Additionally, a training camp was held in Italy where the focus was on teambuilding and friendly games were played.
Leading up to the campaign, games were played against the U20 Netherlands (56-95), Bassano Orange Basketball Academy (77-67) and the U20 Switzerland (71-76). These games helped the team to adjust to the international level of play, going up against international prospects and matching the physicality.
The team is now focused and very motivated to face the international competition in the upcoming days.
