Or U20 boys are the second youth national team to play the European Championship (Division B) this summer.
Luxembourg plays in group B against Portugal, Great Britain, Hungary and Austria.
The coaching team:
« On Wednesday, our men’s national team flies to Skopje (Macedonia) to take part in the FIBA U20 Division B European Championship. For 10 days, 20 teams, divided into 4 groups, will compete for the championship and the chance to move up to Division A. Luxembourg is in group B, where it will face some strong teams: Portugal, England, Hungary and Austria.
The team has had a very intense preparatory period, including a training camp in France, and is highly motivated going into the competition.
They had an exchange match against the Netherlands in Luxembourg, which prepared them for the opposition they will face.
These matches have enabled the team to adapt to the level that awaits them and to improve together.
The team is now focused and enthusiastic about facing international competition in the coming days. The first match will be against Hungary. »
