Our women earned their second win in their third game at the GSSE. On Thursday, the team of head coach MAriusz Dziurdzia was able to beat the host Malta 64:55. It was a close game that was decided in the final minutes.
Amanda Cahill led Luxembourg with 20 points, Anne Simon added 11 points and Esmeralda Skrijelj and Ehi Etute each scored 10 points for the FLBB-squad.

Our men had the same opponent on Thursday and came up with a victory over the hosts too. After trailing by 10 points early in the game, Luxembourg had a strong second quarter to take a 47:44 lead into the break. In a very interesting final quarter, the last seconds became decisive. Clancy Rugg hit a big shot to give the FLBB squad the lead with one minute remaining (video). Ivan Delgado led Luxembourg with 20 points.
