On Saturday-evening, the second game of the women’s finals was played in Walferdange. T71 forces a decisive game by winning on the road, the series is tied at 1:1 and will be decided next Saturday in a big game 3 showdown.

– Catherine Mreches had a great start into the game (9 points in the first quarter) but Résidence managed to stay in reach behind Logic’s 8 points in the opening 10 minutes, T71 led 17:15
– T71 had a very strong second quarter, they scored 26 points as multiple players scored the basketball, they led 35:25 at one point but Résidence fought back to reduce the lead to 6 points going into the break (37:43)
– In the third quarter, T71 jumped out to a 12-point lead (44:56), Résidence answered with a run and was back in the game (52:56) before Mreches and Winton managed to give their team an 8-point lead going into the final quarter (52:60 for T71)
– In the final quarter, T71 stayed aggressive and made big plays to build a 10+ point lead. This time, Résidence was not able to make a comeback
– Catherine Mreches led her team with 22 points, Winton, Mossong and Geniets also scored in double digits
– Cahill had 25 points and 14 rebounds for Résidence, Logic added 18/13/7 and Fapranzi scored 13 points
